Devara’s Beginning
After a long six-year break, NTR Jr., the man of the people, is back on the big screen as the main character. The movie that Koratala Siva wrote and directed with NTR Jr. is his second work together, and it has gotten a lot of attention since it came out on September 27 in five languages around the world.
The movie has two roles for NTR Jr., and Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are both making their Tollywood debuts. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music and score for the movie.
Story of Devara
Leader of Erra Samudram, a group of four towns on a hill near Ratnagiri, is Devara (Jr. NTR). He, along with Bhaira (Saif Ali Khan) and Rayappa (Srikanth), agree to steal from the container ships for Muruga (Murali Sharma) in exchange for money. One day, Devara learns that the package contains guns that are being used against people. He decides to stop what is being done, which makes Bhaira very angry.
In the end, Bhaira uses Rayappa to plan how to kill Devara. Devara tells the locals and Bhaira that he will not spare anyone who dares to go to the sea to smuggle things, after killing everyone who attacked him. He turns into a wimp after 12 years. His name is Vara (Jr NTR). Then Bhaira tells Vara to go to the sea and steal a ship full of guns. Had Devara a fight with his son Vara? How did Devara get away? How you answer these questions is what Devara: Part 1 is all about.
Analysis
NTR Jr. is a great talent, but people come to see him just for his looks. That star never lets down with his acting skills or the dance moves that only he can do without practicing. In Devara, NTR Jr. tried to play two roles at once, which hasn’t worked for him before. Vara and Devara are two very different figures with very different traits. Fans and movie buffs will be able to relate to both characters, and Tarak does a great job with his part.
Tarak showed off his skills in Koratala Siva’s movie in both action and emotional parts. Fans will enjoy the plot even though the story is obvious.
Putting on shows
Without a doubt, NTR Jr. gives a stunning and applaud-worthy performance as Devara and Vara in the movie. The movie gave Saif Ali Khan a good part, but in the second half, he wasn’t as important. Janhvi Kapoor, who plays Thanga, doesn’t show up until the second half, and she only has four scenes and a song that really stand out. In the first part of the movie, she doesn’t have much to do because it doesn’t need a female star.
There could have been more built-up for some characters, like the ones played by Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and others. It’s still not clear why Prakash Raj’s character tells Ajay’s character Devara’s story in the movie. Fans will enjoy both the “Fear” song and the “Aayudha Pooja” song in the theater. ‘Daavudi’ song, on the other hand, was cut off because it ran too long.
Technical Things
The music and background score by Anirudh Ravichander were very important in making Devara what it was on film. Every shot of the movie shows that Rathnavelu has a lot of experience as a top-notch photographer. There are a lot of great technical and production values in this movie. The VFX are especially impressive.
